Epicenter, a company specializing in subdermal microchips, showcased an implant capable of storing an individual’s COVID-19 vaccination status — or “Covid passport.”
“Implants are a very versatile technology that can be used for many different things,” said Hannes Sjoblad, Epicenter’s “chief disruptor.”
“Right now it’s very convenient to have Covid passports always accessible on your implant,” he added.
