In today’s America, the culture war over the inclusion of transgender athletes in women’s sports is heating up, and this year’s Super Bowl ads have become the latest battleground. Two commercials, in particular, have sparked outrage among those who are fighting to protect female athletes from what they see as unfair competition.
One of the ads causing a stir came straight from the NFL, with one of the longest run times of the night. The “Leave The Past Behind” commercial aimed to promote girls’ flag football in high schools nationwide but ended up offending many by showcasing a female player outperforming male counterparts. Critics argue that this portrayal pushes the misleading narrative that women can compete on an equal physical footing with men, a notion often used to justify trans inclusion in women’s sports.
The advocacy group “Women Are Real” didn’t hold back, expressing their disdain for the ad on social media platform X. They argue that the ad undermines the reality of women’s sports and the unique excellence of female athletes. “Support your daughter’s development as a female athlete. Don’t compare her to boys,” the group urged.
Marshi Smith, co-founder of the Independent Council on Women’s Sports, echoed these sentiments, questioning why there is a push to depict women competing against men in sports. Casey Caston, founder of Marriage 365, also criticized the ad for ignoring the inherent gender differences that exist, stating, “Women weren’t created to do everything a man CAN do. Women were created to do everything a man CAN’T do.”
Meanwhile, Nike’s first Super Bowl commercial in 27 years also drew criticism, primarily due to the company’s support for trans athletes in women’s sports. The ad featured prominent female athletes but was quickly called out by former NCAA swimmer and conservative activist Riley Gaines. Gaines used the opportunity to promote XX-XY Athletics, a startup brand committed to protecting female athletes from trans inclusion.
Jennifer Sey, founder of XX-XY Athletics, and sports broadcaster Michelle Tafoya also took to social media to criticize Nike, highlighting the brand’s outdated approach and urging support for companies that stand for the integrity of women’s sports.
The majority of Americans, including many Democrats, seem to be on the side of these critics. A New York Times/Ipsos survey revealed that 79% of Americans believe biological males should not compete in women’s sports. Even among Democrats, 67% oppose such participation. These numbers are consistent with other polls, such as a Gallup survey and a NORC poll from the University of Chicago, both showing strong opposition to trans athletes in women’s sports.
In response to these concerns, President Donald Trump recently signed the “No Men in Women’s Sports” executive order. However, some states, including California and Minnesota, have signaled their intention to defy the order, continuing to allow biological males to compete in women’s sports.

I am always amused when common sense plays second fiddle to conniving instigators and “modernist” wackos seeking notoriety, and financial or other benefits. It underlines the failure of our education system to provide enough stimulus to enable individuals to recognize what equity requires.

“Trans” literally means “beyond” – “Transylvania” = “beyond the forest”. “Cis” literally means “not beyond” – “cislunar space” = the space contained within – not beyond – the Moon’s orbit”. “Gender” is a word adopted from linguistics – where in many languages words are different in their masculine, feminine, plural, (or neuter, in German,) forms. It was used to replace “sex” when that word was considered a “dirty word” and carries exactly the same meaning as “sex” when used as a biological determinate. It is immutable in higher lifeforms. There is no such thing as a “Trans” person, only a delusional individual causing themselves irreparable physical harm. Catering to their delusion only causes further harm, both to them and to society as a whole. Give them proper psychiatric care and stop all this ridiculous BS!
