Should TikTok Be Banned in the US?

Lawmakers are cracking down on access to TikTok amid rising national security concerns.
Last week, Congress passed the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill, which included a measure banning the app on some government devices.
On Tuesday, U.S. House of Representatives internal memo directed lawmakers and staffers to delete the app from House-issued devices.
The memo from Catherine L. Szpindor, the chief administrative officer of the House, said that the ban comes after her office’s cybersecurity team found TikTok to be a “high risk to users due to a number of security risks.”
Meanwhile, some members of the Senate say that the app should be banned in the U.S. entirely.

Of course. Anything that is not supposed to be there and may be potentially harmful to our country should be brought down

tic-tok has free speech on it’s @ide ,ok if it is not on China ‘s tec-tok post then it should not be on American’s tic-tok.

It should be banned from our Country entirely! China is our worst enemy and will do anything and everything to destroy our Country, our Home.

If we weigh the good with the bad it would seem there is way more bad. When or if a child does something stupid because of a tic Toc app that causes grave injury or death the company allowing these challenges should be sued for millions upon millions. That alone would force them to clean up what they are allowing, and if they refuse to pay,…then ban altogether.
