Should Rep. Rashida Tlaib Be Expelled From Her Position?

Should Rep. Rashida Tlaib Be Expelled From Her Position?
Here’s The Scoop
In a stunning display of moral blindness, Rep. Rashida Tlaib has chosen to ignore the horrific acts of sexual violence committed by Hamas terrorists during their attacks on Israel on October 7th.
The House recently passed a bipartisan resolution condemning these heinous acts, introduced by Rep. Lois Frankel, D-Fla., and endorsed by 200 co-sponsors from both sides of the aisle.
The resolution passed with an overwhelming majority of 418 to 0, sending a clear message that rape and sexual violence are crimes against humanity and should never be used or accepted as weapons of war.
It also calls on all nations to criminalize rape and sexual assault, and hold accountable all perpetrators of sexual violence, including state and non-state armed groups.
Rep. Frankel spoke passionately about the responsibility to address these difficult subjects and the atrocities committed by Hamas, which have largely been met with a shrug from many corners in the world.
The resolution reaffirms the United States Government’s support for independent, impartial investigations of rape and sexual violence committed by Hamas and its commitment to supporting survivors of rape and sexual violence.
Yet, Rep. Tlaib, in a disturbing display of partisanship, claims that the resolution “completely ignores and erases any sexual violence committed” by IDF forces, despite these claims being unsubstantiated.
This blatant disregard for the victims of Hamas’ brutality and the bipartisan effort to condemn these acts raises the question: Should Rep. Rashida Tlaib be expelled from her position?
It’s time for our elected officials to stand united against the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war, regardless of their political affiliations.

Not only Tlaib, but Ilhan Omar as well. They expelled George Santo for MUCH less! If there were investigations- AOC, Pressley and Bowman (pulling the fire alarm) should also be.

After expelling her, ship her back to the Middle East desert where she belongs.

No. You don’t expel someone because they have disagreeable opinions, you only expel someone when they break the law. She may be an SCP ogre with vile beliefs but she’s broken no laws by stating them. I absolutely hate having her as my Representative in Congress but cannot condone removing her for exercising her right to Free Speech and anyone who votes “Yes” in this poll doesn’t understand what it means to be an American.

I agree, but her allegiance is not to the U.S. The reason she’s in the House of Representatives is her muslim constitutes have voted for her. So the rest of the country just have to listen to her propaganda. Palestinians who support Hamas are animals for the way they attacked Israel.

Expel from Congress…DEPORT. She and other “squad” members should NEVER be in any level of our USA Government office regardless of the district in where they live. Only third generation immigrants should be in any USA government office. We have no clue about what information she could be sending back to the Middle East.
