The Trump administration has already taken decisive action by revoking $400 million in federal funding from Columbia University, a school that gained notoriety for its support of Gaza through protest encampments. Mahmoud Khalil, a key figure in these protests, has been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) due to his student visa status. President Donald Trump has made it clear that Khalil’s arrest is just the beginning, promising to root out and deport those engaged in pro-terrorist, anti-Semitic, and anti-American activities.

President Trump emphasized the administration’s commitment to identifying and removing these agitators, many of whom he claims are not genuine students but paid provocateurs. The message is clear: the Trump administration will not tolerate the presence of terrorist sympathizers on American soil.

Additionally, the Department of Education is conducting a thorough investigation into 60 universities for potential Title VI violations related to antisemitism. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon has expressed deep disappointment in the failure of university leaders to protect Jewish students, emphasizing that federal support is a privilege contingent on adherence to antidiscrimination laws.
