Who are the people voting for Communism and for Taiwan to fall under communist oppression? .!. Get out of any free country and go live in China

During WW II, one of the big five allies was Nationalist China. Following WW II, there was a civil war in China between the nationalists and the communists. With the help of Russia, the Communists drove the nationalists from the mainland and they went into exile and became Taiwan. Taiwan is all that remains of our old ally, Nationalist China. Is the USA to sell out another former ally as we did in Vietnam and Afghanistan? It seems we have set a precedent of selling out our allies and picking up our marbles and going home when we get tired of the fight. The Communists have learned they don’t have to win, just hold out long enough and we will quit and go home.
