In a recent interview with The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro, former President Donald Trump took aim at what he describes as the “corrupt” media, accusing them of burying negative stories about Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff. The mainstream media’s silence on a new report alleging that Emhoff assaulted his ex-girlfriend has sparked outrage among conservatives, who see this as yet another example of media bias.
Trump and Shapiro discussed the explosive allegations against Emhoff, which have been largely ignored by major media outlets. Commentators like Megyn Kelly and Chris Cuomo have pointed out this glaring double standard, questioning why the media isn’t holding Emhoff accountable in the same way they would a conservative figure.
During the interview, Trump recounted watching Emhoff’s interview on MSNBC—dubbed “MSDNC” by Trump—where the second gentleman was treated to what he called a “love fest.” Emhoff faced no tough questions about the alleged assault or his past affair with a nanny, as reported by The Daily Mail. “It was like a love fest,” Trump remarked. “Never asked him about that. Never asked him about the other one.”
Trump expressed disbelief at how the media is handling the situation, contrasting it with the scrutiny he faced during his presidency. “If that were me, it would be the greatest story in the last five years,” he said, highlighting the clear double standards at play.
The former president didn’t hold back, labeling the media as “very, very corrupt” and declaring, “We don’t have a free press.” He emphasized the severity of the situation, stating, “We’re at the level now where it’s absolutely corrupt. It’s wrong. It’s just so bad.”
The allegations against Emhoff, reported by The Daily Mail, claim he drunkenly and “forcefully slapped” his ex-girlfriend at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. The report, which cites three friends of the woman who corroborated the incident, has been met with silence from the White House. An unnamed spokesman for Emhoff has denied the allegations, calling them “untrue.”
As the media continues to ignore this story, conservatives are left questioning the integrity of a press that seems more interested in protecting certain political figures than in reporting the truth.

San Francisco Mayor “Willie Brown”. He was 60 & she was 29yrs.
Age doesn’t matter when you’re both adults, but she didn’t have the affair for love, it was simply to move up the ladder! That wasn’t the only affair with a married man for her career. She didn’t care

You question this but obviously don’t keep up with the news! Kamala’s affair with Willie Brown is a long known fact. Had it not been for Brown, no one would know who she is!
