Do You Think CNN Is Biased Against Republicans?

Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has finally decided to face the music and sit for an interview, nearly 40 days after she ascended to the forefront of her party.

After more than a month of avoiding tough questions from reporters, Harris finally agreed to do a pre-taped interview with CNN’s Dana Bash. Notably, this coincides with the kickoff of the college football season — a convenient distraction, perhaps?

Vice presidential nominee Tim Walz will join Harris. But let’s not overlook Bash’s questionable track record. She’s infamous for her clear bias against Republicans and tendency to parrot Democratic talking points. Here are just a few egregious examples from this year alone:

First, Bash falsely claimed that Harris was never appointed as the border czar, a blatant attempt to rewrite history as criticism of the administration’s border policies continues to intensify. This is despite clear evidence showing Harris was indeed assigned this role.

Next, Bash misleadingly placed the blame for the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal on former President Donald Trump. The conditional deal Trump made was worlds apart from the chaos that unfolded under Biden’s watch, yet Bash gave Biden a free pass.

On the subject of prisoners held by Russia, Bash praised Biden’s flimsy rebuttal to Trump’s claims that he could have secured the release of prisoners without making concessions. Biden’s response conveniently ignored the fact that three of the four prisoners were detained during his own administration, not Trump’s.

Moreover, Bash twisted the words of Trump and Elon Musk about nuclear energy, misleading viewers into thinking they belittled the tragedy of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The full context of their conversation showed they were discussing the relative safety of nuclear power in modern terms, not downplaying historical devastation.

Lastly, Bash lamented the Supreme Court’s ruling that kept Trump on the ballot, showing her contempt for the democratic process and the Constitution.

It’s clear who Dana Bash supports, and it certainly is not the conservatives. As Harris steps into this cushy interview setup, one can only hope the American people see through the media’s thinly veiled biases and demand accountability from their leaders.
