Do You Believe Biden’s Autopen Pardons Are Legally Void?

Do You Believe Biden’s Autopen Pardons Are Legally Void?

Here’s The Scoop

In a bold move, President Donald Trump has called out former President Joe Biden’s controversial use of the autopen to issue pardons, declaring them “VOID.” Trump alleges that Biden was unaware of these pardons, which were granted to members of the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 Capitol incident, among others.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump didn’t hold back, labeling the committee as “Unselect” and accusing them of conducting a politically driven witch hunt. Trump asserted, “The ‘Pardons’ that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen.”

Trump’s claims raise serious questions about the transparency and legitimacy of Biden’s actions, suggesting that the pardons were neither explained to nor approved by Biden himself. “He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime,” Trump emphasized.

This revelation comes on the heels of a report by the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project, which highlighted the frequent use of an autopen for Biden’s official documents. The report has fueled concerns over who is truly in control at the White House.

When asked about the validity of executive orders and pardons signed by Biden via autopen, Trump stated, “I think so. It’s not my decision. That would be up to a court.” This leaves the door open for potential legal challenges to Biden’s actions.

The controversy deepens as Biden, on his last day in office, announced pardons for individuals including General Mark A. Milley and Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, as well as members and staff of the Select Committee. Biden claimed these individuals were unfairly targeted by politically motivated prosecutions.

As the debate over Biden’s use of the autopen continues, Americans are left questioning the integrity of decisions made during his presidency. Fox News Digital has reached out to a Biden spokesperson for comment, but the silence speaks volumes.

Absolutely. I believe that the president should be accountable for every piece of legislation that he signed. No exceptions. Anything else is considered fraud.

First, pardons are not legislation – legislation is only created by Congress. Second, the issue is whether or not signature by autopen is legally the same as a direct signature, i.e. did he really sign or not? Read slower and maybe your comprehension will increase…
Unfortunately, the law gives facsimile signatures equal weight to manual signatures in most cases, as long as said facsimile signatures were done at the direction of the signatory or during the normal course of business: you don’t think someone really signs all those tax refund checks, Social Security checks, payroll checks, etc., do you? They’re not valid without a signature but the signature on them is computer printed. At the DMV and other places they may still use a rubber stamp & inkpad instead of a manual pen.
Once again, Trump’s claims hold no legal water.

I have read that there is proof that Biden was not even in the US when these were signed.

Again, he wouldn’t have to be present as long as the autopen signatures were made at his direction.

It would have been easier to vote if the word “should” were used.
Letting criminals like Fauci off the hook should be a crime in itself,
“Aiding and Abetining a known criminal”
