Do You Agree with Dana White That Politics Is “Gross and Disgusting”?
Here’s The Scoop
UFC President Dana White, a staunch supporter of President-elect Donald Trump, has decided to step away from the political arena after playing a pivotal role in Trump’s successful bid for a second term. In a candid interview with the New Yorker following UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden, White expressed his disillusionment with the political landscape.
“I’m never f—ing doing this again,” White declared, emphasizing his distaste for the political process. “I want nothing to do with this s—. It’s gross. It’s disgusting. I want nothing to do with politics.”
White’s friendship with Trump dates back to the early days of the UFC, when Trump provided a platform for the sport at his Atlantic City casino, helping to elevate its reputation. Over the years, the relationship has remained strong, with Trump becoming a beloved figure among UFC fans.
“Every time, when he was getting hammered at his worst, we’d walk into that arena and the place erupts and goes crazy,” White noted. “It shows other people, Oh, wait. Everybody doesn’t hate Donald Trump like the media is telling us.”
The enthusiasm for Trump was palpable at UFC 309, where he received a rousing reception as he made his way to the Octagon, accompanied by key figures like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Vivek Ramaswamy, and Tulsi Gabbard. White remarked that Trump and UFC fighter Conor McGregor consistently draw the loudest cheers at events.
Trump’s campaign strategy included appearances on several high-profile podcasts, such as “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which garnered an impressive 47 million views on YouTube, as well as “This Past Weekend with Theo Von,” Andrew Schulz’s “Flagrant,” Barstool Sports’ “Bussin with the Boys,” “Nelk Boys,” and “Impaulsive” with Logan Paul. White believes these appearances resonated particularly well with young male voters.
“You’re getting conversations in these podcasts, and you yourself, as a young kid, get to really see who Donald Trump is,” White explained. “Not the bulls— you hear from the far-left media.”
As White steps back from politics, his support for Trump remains unwavering, reflecting a broader sentiment among many Americans who feel misrepresented by mainstream narratives.

Unfortunately, it’s we the people that have made it disgusting. All you have to do is listen to any of those man-on-the-street reporters to get a sense of how really uninformed people really are. We have had a growing segment of sheep that believe what they hear the most as the truth. This is why a media that looses their integrity and is willing to lie is so dangerous and perhaps somehow we can come up with a way of rooting out REAL falsehoods … like putting stiffer penalties for slander and holding the media to a higher standard with stiff penalties … or perhaps where they have to state in the reporting where things are their opinion or conjecture vs fact and in a court of law the fact needs to be able to be proven as true. For too long we have let the media get by with short news bytes that don’t go into any detail. And that is on both sides of the political isle. I don’t know how many times I’ve read a headline and then read the article to find it never produced any evidence to back up the headline. Integrity in the media is dead. But that is also where you see the big difference between the two parties. Democrats are basically the most sheep like. Once the party takes a position, they are very good about falling into lock-step and doing exactly what the party or union tells them. Republicans are a little more independent, but can be swayed by repetition of the lie and will take that single issue to drive their actions. That is what has been so interesting with this election is the people who voted against President Trump simply because they don’t like the way he talks …. but can’t argue a single issue.
