Will You Still Vote For Trump If He’s Convicted of a Felony?

Will You Still Vote For Trump If He’s Convicted of a Felony?

Here’s the Scoop

As the political landscape heats up with the approach of the 2024 presidential election, a new Reuters/IPSOS poll sheds light on a crucial question facing the Republican electorate: Would they still vote for Donald Trump if he were convicted of a felony?

The poll’s findings reveal a significant shift in sentiment among Republicans, with only 31% now saying they wouldn’t support Trump under such circumstances, compared to nearly half in a previous poll.

This staunch loyalty comes despite Trump currently facing 91 charges across four criminal cases, including federal and Georgia election interference cases, the Mar-A-Lago classified documents case, and the Stormy Daniels case.

Interestingly, the unwavering support seems to stem from a deep-rooted skepticism within the Republican base, as fewer than a quarter actually believe the accusations against Trump.

Meanwhile, Trump’s potential run for the presidency remains a contentious and closely watched race. Morning Consult’s latest poll indicates a neck-and-neck battle, with Trump garnering 43% of the vote against Biden’s 41%.

This scenario unfolds amidst growing disillusionment with Biden’s policies among key demographics that secured his 2020 victory, notably his stance on the Israel-Gaza conflict and border policies.

In this turbulent political climate, we ask you, our readers: Would you still cast your vote for Donald Trump if he were convicted of a felony? This question cuts to the heart of the current political divide, challenging the principles and priorities that guide the American electorate.

Your voice is crucial in this debate about loyalty, legality, and the future direction of American politics. Vote now and let us know where you stand on this pivotal issue.

Yes, I will still vote for him, because I think 2020 and all these charges are all baloney, lies, and corruption. They want us to just go away quiestly, so they can continue to lie and cheat.

I believe the democrats will make sure to convict him as they are terrified of his presidency. Of course they will make sure juries convict. Throughout his presidency he was attacked over and over, lied about in the media as well as FBI, the justice dept. scams. The 20/20 elections were fraught with election malfeasance that the courts refused to address. The charges against him now are so ridiculous yet others who have done worse, (Joe, Hillary, Obama,Schiff, Pelosi, to name a few) have done far worse, however are democrat darlings the media fawns over. All of this has become blatantly obvious to many Americans and anyone that pays attention. I believe it the number 1 reason his advocacy numbers are so high. People are tired of the BS from our own govt and media. They are still pushing the great economy. How much more for gas and groceries are we paying. People aren’t stupid.

As he pretty much said himself, he could shoot someone in Times Square and y’all would still vote for him. Would ANYTHING convince you of his criminality? Are the charges all false? Are the juries all rigged? If (as you claim) 43% of people would vote for him, leading Biden by 2 points, wouldn’t that mean there would be enough people on a jury not to convict him? Remember, some of these cases are being held by TRUMP APPOINTED / supported judges and prosecutors. Those who know and understand the law know he ha done wrong.

As a former DIE HARD Republican, you need to realize that Trump wants to do away with democracy. Don”t listen to pundits, LISTEN TO HIM. He says and means it when he will be a dictator. Stop and think about the economies of countries ruled by dictators. NONE of them are doing well! Is that what you want for America? Your social economic status will fall. He will support only the rich!

You are proof positive of Albert Einsteins observation that there is only one major difference between intelligence and stupidity! Intelligence has limitations!

We can all see that all the cases against President Trump are frivolous and political. None of them will stand up to an appeal.

No puedo creer que aún haya gente que vote por Biden; cuando sólo ha destruido nuestro país, hasta parece que odia a USA; Además él ya no está bien ni de mente ni de nada, solamente es un monigote de los malos.

Unless he changes his tune and commits to fully supporting Ukraine until they defeat the Russians and regain control of the entirety of their territory I will not vote for him. The only person I would be less likely to vote for is Nikki Haley. So far the only Republican candidate worth a shit is Chris Christie.
