Is Biden Using Jan. 6 to Unfairly Influence the Election?

Is Biden Using Jan. 6 to Unfairly Influence the Election?

Here’s The Scoop

In a blatant attempt to sway public opinion ahead of the upcoming election, President Biden criticized the Supreme Court’s decision to grant former President Trump absolute immunity from prosecution for “official acts” performed during his presidency. Speaking from the prestigious Cross Hall, Biden took the opportunity to question Trump’s suitability for office, pushing a narrative that seems designed to distract from his own administration’s failings.

During his brief four-minute speech, closely following teleprompters, Biden expressed discontent with the court’s ruling, suggesting it deprived the American people of necessary closure regarding the January 6 incident.

“The American people deserve to have an answer in the courts before the upcoming election,” Biden remarked, attempting to paint Trump as unfit for public office due to his alleged actions on that day.

This rhetoric from Biden, who has previously tried to distance himself from Trump’s multiple legal battles, raises eyebrows about his true intentions.

It’s telling that a Biden campaign official compared the Supreme Court’s decision to handing Trump “the keys to a dictatorship,” a statement hyperbolic at best.

This sentiment from Biden’s camp highlights the lengths to which they are willing to go to shape public perception against Trump, who remains a formidable rival.

Trump, on the other hand, celebrated the court’s decision, calling it a “BIG WIN FOR OUR CONSTITUTION AND DEMOCRACY” and expressing pride in being an American. His reaction underscores the ongoing battle between the two leaders, with Trump framing himself as a protector of constitutional values against what he sees as Biden’s overreach.

The 6-3 decision by the Supreme Court is significant, leaving the determination of whether Trump’s actions fall under “official acts” to lower courts. This move reflects a dedication to judicial process rather than political maneuvering, a principle that seems lost in Biden’s recent statements. The fact that both a US district court and the DC Circuit Court of Appeals had previously rejected Trump’s immunity claims further complicates the legal landscape but upholds a system of checks and balances.

Furthermore, Biden’s recent appearance comes at a time when there’s growing discontent within his own party. A CBS News poll indicates that 45% of Democrats want him to step aside, and the New York Times editorial board has openly called for a new candidate. These internal pressures cast doubt on Biden’s leadership and suggest that his focus on Trump may be more about consolidating his shaky position than genuine concern for democratic principles.

In the end, it’s the American people who must decipher the motivations behind Biden’s actions. Is he genuinely concerned about democracy, or is he using the January 6 incident as a political tool? As the election draws closer, voters will need to cut through the noise and make their decision based on facts, not fearmongering.

It will save Biden after he is out because he’s just as guilty as Trump and even more so.

Please list the “crimes” that you believe President Biden is guilty of. I think it will be very difficult to find any.

Yep – He encouraged the violence, and even tried to join in, but his secret service detail wouldn’t let him go there. He is guilty, and it’s ok to remind people of that.

No Betsy he did not incite anything. He asked them to protest peacefully and there was no insurrection armed or otherwise. No one has been charged with insurrection and there was only one death and that was a female protester shot by an incompetent Capitol Policeman, who then was promoted. The democrats are devious treacherous street fighters and will resort to anything to win elections and maintain control of the government and the people.

No Tim, DJT did send them. Where did he say to be peaceful. Why did he not tell them to stop once it get started? Why was the woman trying to squeeze through a window? What color is the sky in your world?
Yes the dems are devious treacherous street fighters and you are not. So quit trying.
